Beingers guide to study abroad Very Cool

Do you want to study abroad here is some advide from someone who has gone through the process.

In order for me to study abroad, I had to complete many tasks before I left on my trip. First, I had to apply to the study abroad program at the school I wanted to study at. This was as simple as going to the schools website, navigating to their study abroad application, and filling out the form. This process will have a lot of forms to fill out. After I got accepted info the study abroad program I had to apply for a study abroad visa. As I wanted to study abroad in Australia I just had to go to their visa application website, fill out some forms, and send copies of two forms of ID. But, there was one more step. I also needed to have travelers insurance for my time in Australia. For this I researched some popular travel health insurance companies and went with the one I thought was best. Then I applied for the visa and waited for a response. I got a response by email a few weeks later. With the visa I was ready to study abroad. However, I still needed to plan out housing. My options were either living in school accommodation or living with a home stay. I decided that the homestay was better for me because I would be more social and it would cost less. After communicating my progress with my guidance counselor and got my classes picked for the semester abroad I was ready to study abroad. I bought my plane ticket and I got ready for the long trip to Australia. Not all of my study abroad was perfect. I would say that there are some pitfalls that I ran into and here is my advice for when these occur. While I was abroad, I accidentally lost my debit card. This was very scary as it was how I got money and payed for groceries. Luckily I had set up a local bank account and I was able to get a debit card for that, and by using a payment website I transferred the money from my home bank account to the foreign one. Losing a bank card while abroad can be very scary, but it can be avoided if you use a digital card and pay with your phone. This way you can keep the physical card in a safe place so it has a reduced chance of being lost. Also never, carry large amounts of cast, if you drop your wallet or money container all of it will be lost and not very likely to make its way back to you. To stay safe I keep alerts on for when my cards are used. This way if there's a fraudulent transaction I am able to have the card locked and the transaction reported as soon as possible. If you lose a card or suspect fraud, make sure to lock it as soon as possible. This will protect your money and make sure that you get it back if it was stolen. Many banks or credit companies have a mobile application or website that you can login to and manage all of your credit card or debit card needs. Make sure to make full use of your time. It’s good to do research while you are free or before you leave for the trip. Learn what the local attractions are and what the local delicacies are. While I was in Melbourne I visited the beach, a zoo, and an old prison turned into a museum. Take part in activities at your school such as clubs, excursions, and school events. I joined the board game club, the surfing club while in Australia, and I had a lot of fun going on outings with them.
